Spot UV is a gloss varnish which can be applied to areas of your design to highlight elements or add an a bit of WOW! to your design.
Your Spot UV Business Cards are laminated first with a thin layer of Matt Lamination film. It helps protect your business cards from marks and general wear and tear.
Applied over Matt Lamination this gives a stunning contrast between super flat Matt Lamination and Super Glossy Spot UV. Usually the preserve of only the richest self promoters, Tay Valley Design can offer one of the the most cost effective SPOT UV service.
The Spot UV ink when applied also has a slightly raised feel, similar to other digital embossing techniques. So not only does this effect look good, it also feels good !
Please note we can only apply to Spot UV to one side of your business card.
